She is the co-founder of the specialized polyclinic Kardia &amp; Aggeia \u2013 K&amp;A Heart and Vascular, based in <strong>Chalandri, Athens,<\/strong> while also maintaining a private practice in her hometown of <strong>Corfu<\/strong>. Additionally, she serves as a consultant vascular surgeon at Euroclinic in Athens.\nShe earned her medical degree from the<strong> National and Kapodistrian University of Athens<\/strong> and completed her rural medical service at the <strong>Hospital and Health Center of Kalavryta<\/strong> in the Achaia region. She specialized in General Surgery at <strong>Thriassio General Hospital<\/strong> before completing her training in Vascular Surgery at the <strong>Vascular Surgery Clinic of the University Hospital Attikon in Athens<\/strong>.\nDr. Poulou has pursued further training internationally. She trained at <strong>Johannesburg Charlotte Maxeke University Hospital in South Africa<\/strong>, renowned for its expertise in <strong>vascular trauma<\/strong>. Additionally, she gained experience in <strong>endovascular techniques at Tucson Medical Center and Pima Vascular Clinic in Arizona, USA<\/strong>.\nShe holds a master's degree in <strong>Endovascular Techniques<\/strong> from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in collaboration with Bicocca University of Milan, Italy. Her thesis focused on the placement of stents in <strong>deep vein thrombosis<\/strong> of the lower limbs.\nDr. Poulou is certified in <strong>vascular ultrasound<\/strong> by the Ministry of Health and in <strong>Phlebology<\/strong> by the <strong>European College of Phlebology<\/strong>. She has also received specialized training in <strong>lymphedema<\/strong> and<strong> lipedema at LymphOpt Clinic in Germany<\/strong>. Beyond her clinical work, she has been actively involved in public health as a member of the <strong>National Public Health Organization<\/strong> (EODY). She also holds a master's degree in <strong>Crisis Management in the Health Sector<\/strong>, with an emphasis on leadership and soft skills in the information age.<\/span><\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<div id=\"1559912678981-7e952b29-b8db\" class=\"dt-sc-empty-space\"><\/div><blockquote class='type3' data-delay='0'><q>She has presented at both Greek and international medical conferences and has authored scientific publications in vascular surgery. Her contributions to the field have been recognized with an award from the International Union of Angiology.<\/q><\/blockquote><div id=\"1559912752491-9c3dd046-385b\" class=\"dt-sc-empty-space\"><\/div>\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\r\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\">Dr. Poulou is a member of several professional societies, including the Hellenic Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, the Hellenic Angiology Society, the Hellenic Phlebology Society, and the European Society for Vascular Surgery.
